Feedback from 2018-19 plan

A proportion of the grant has been used to purchase additional concrete maths resources following whole school training on Maths.  Staff have developed understanding of how concrete resources help to embed understanding of mathematical concepts and have been integrating the resources into their teaching.  Additional reading books have been bought, high interest low reading age, to support the progress of our Year 7 formal learners.  For our informal/semi-formal learners, story bags have been purchased to support promoting the joy of reading.  The grant has enabled specific resources to be purchased and utilised to support teaching and learning of key skills across the year 7 cohort.
