SILC pupils who receive their education at any of the partnership sites remain on the roll of Broomfield, and are supported by either Broomfield Teachers or Learning Support Assistants. They receive support from Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and the individual schools’ nursing team.
Reach Primary Satellite Provision:
Reach Primary Learning Centre is a thirty six place provision for pupils aged between five and eleven years old (year 1 to year 6) who are at risk of exclusion or permanent exclusion from mainstream primary school.
All of the pupils referred have mild to moderate Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Thirty two places are available for pupils from the South Area Inclusion Partnership. Reach is funded entirely by the AIP.
Reach joined Broomfield SILC in January 2022 and the provision is under Broomfield SILC governance. There are no Broomfield pupils on the role of Reach as pupils who attend are referred from mainstream primaries.
