Future Jobs Project by Aspire-igen - Post 16
This week pupils in Post 16 have been supported in school by workers from the Future Jobs project at Aspire-igen.
On Monday, they talked to pupils individually and in groups about the kinds of jobs they would like to get after school or college.
Aspire-igen offers training courses, which some young people may prefer to college, and advice to school-leavers.
On Wednesday, pupils took part in interactive group sessions covering 'Skills and Behaviours' (this included how to succeed at job interviews), 'Next Steps' (the range of options after school) and 'Growth Jobs' (the types of jobs that will exist in the future).
These activities helped pupils develop a further understanding of the opportunities available to them following their time at Broomfield.
